PTSD is usually experienced after a traumatic event and the body is suffering with shock and is overloaded with un productive response.

If we don’t have enough time or knowledge to digest what has or is happening to us then we will go into over load and can remain there, until we have had enough time or guidance to process what has happened to us and put the experience to rest.

Its like being given a job to do that you have no experience for and being told that you have to do it, there is no way of avoiding it and you can’t go home until its done, but the more you think about it the more you find it impossible to work out, until finally you have to ask for help or you collapse.

GRIEF

We all experience grief at some point in our lifes and we aren’t taught how to deal with it.

There are many natural stages to grief and yet again the brain and body need time to process it and if we are busy keeping a job together or running a family then our body will develop symptoms or alarm bells to tell us to stop and sort the issue out.
